The Deloitte Africa Headquarters is a 42,500m² (GLA) building with six storeys above ground and four semi-basement levels housing over 2,000 parking bays. The brief was to provide a bespoke design that allowed for the consolidation of Deloitte’s several regional buildings into one coherent Head Office. The design had to assist in creating a unified and flat corporate culture with connection and flexibility at its core. Flooded with natural light, the building is wrapped around a multi-volume atrium which provides a visual connection between levels. Spaces are mostly multi-functional and easily adaptable and only vary in their level of privacy and security. The building form is both progressive and sculptural. It is designed to be seamlessly integrated with the surrounding urban fabric of the future city and has a strong connection to both hard and soft landscaped areas.
